ABC
(Advanced Bubble Control)

Fully automatic IBC and cage control

Principle of Operation:

The basic IBC (Internal Bubble Cooling) operation is to synchronize the volume of cold air, pumped into the bubble, with the volume of hot air being drawn out.
The widest range of air flow rate is done by adjusting the blower speed.
The fastest way to adjust the air flow rate is done by using a balancing valve located on the air pipe.
The combination of both, gives the best possible control over the air flow rate.
Synchronization should be maintained during blower speed change to allow adjustment of cooling power.

The second issue is to control the cage (calibrator, bubble support) size. There are two basic “cage to bubble” relationships (CAGE GAP).
The first relationship (and most widely used) is when the cage acts as a calibrator, meaning that the bubble is "blown onto" the cage and freezes in it.
The second relationship is when the cage is bigger than the bubble and its only there for support.
The first relationship produces better accuracy, the second avoids any scratches and other contact marks on the web.

The third task is to maintain the final WEB WIDTH at a stable and correct value.
The Sysmetric ABC does it all. It uses 8 ultrasonic sensors that measure the frozen bubble size, compensate for atmosphere changes and measure the cage diameter and bubble "pressure" on the cage. (Gap)
Sysmetric ABC uses "Modeling" technique.
This technique properly controls the cage motor, the two blowers and the air valve, allowing continuous changes of any parameter during line operation.
